Tips On Hair Loss

From the start, I was always vocal with my hair problem. Aside from its dry and brittle strands, I am suffering from hair loss and it is so frustrating to see my hair go off every day.

Lots of people have offered me suggestions and tips and so far they are all great. But as I was browsing through the internet, I found a wonderful website that displays more than a handful of information about this awful hair problem. I was even enlightened with the tips they provided to avoid hair loss, which are as follows:

  • frequent aerobic exercise
  • avoid being stressed out physically and psychologically
  • drink lots of water
  • consume healthy and balanced meals
  • slow down on cholesterol intake
  • use sulfate-free shampoos
  • when using conditioners, apply directly on hair and not on scalp
  • use cold water to rinse hair
  • use wide-toothed comb on wet hair

Great tips huh? Well, they also have a variety of reviews on Hair Loss Products that supplied me the ideas on which products or treatments to choose. These products were even ranked accordingly and so the readers will never have a hard time figuring them out.

Watched Twilight

I watched Twilight today and it was such superb! It's been more than 4 hours since I went out the theater but I still have not recovered from the mania yet! I instantly fell in love with the main characters - - Edward and Bella. I haven't read the book yet and now I am intending to do so (the problem is, I do not know where to look for the book).

The actors were also great, and in fairness, Kristen Stewart is really pretty. Watching her face was not a bore at all. And Robert Pattinson, well what can I say? I usually do not go for his kind of look, but he was a total hunk in the movie! It is not difficult to fall in love with him. I guess they have great chemistry together and they really made me giggle with matching goosebumps watching their romantic scenes.

Talking about their scenes together, my favorite was when they started to go to school together and the other kids at school were awed by their sight. I just found it really sweet and brought me back in time, haha! Have you seen Twilight already? What was your favorite scene?

I am definitely going to watch this again.

Package From U.S.

Yey! My cousin sent me a personal message over at yahoo messenger that he has already sent me the vitamin supplements for the kids and it should arrive here in a matter of two weeks. I was glad that the DHA Junior would soon arrive as I find it helpful for my son's development, especially for his attention focus. I guess this package from my cousin is just in time since my son's check up revealed his being at risk with ADHD.

What made me more excited for the package is the additional items he included in it. He also sent some Dove dark chocolates (yeehah!) for us and other food supplements for my parents. This cousin of mine is quite close to my father since the latter supported him financially in his studies long, long time ago. Well, he sent his regards to my brother and promised to search some American ladies for him, haha! But for the meantime, he is sending a wonderful 5.11 Tactical Pants for him because he believes it would definitely give comfort for my brother for engineering tasks, like this one:

Oh well, I am counting on the days . . . Have a great weekend!

A Developmental Pediatrician's Diagnose

I brought my second kid to the developmental pediatrician yesterday because I finally got an appointment. The pediatrician is not from our place and she comes here twice or thrice a year only, so getting to the list of patients for developmental evaluation is not easy.

Well, the moment I have been waiting for finally came and I was quite delighted that my son would be the first one to be examined (that meant I won't have to wait very long). The evaluation went out smoothly and much to my relief, the doctor's diagnosis are as follows:

"Mixed Receptive and Expressive Language Delay, Mild with Heightened Level of Activity, Inattentive and Impulsivity . . . at risk to develop Attention Defitcit Hyperactivity Disorder"

Not that I desired this kind of findings, but I was worried before that my son may have some signs of autism, as what the occupational therapist previously observed.

The doctor listed out some things to do around the house, to control my son's restlessness and impulsivity. Likewise, I have to constantly correct his articulation problem to improve his language and speech skills. She further added to expose my son to lots of familiar objects to enhance his vocabulary.

Whoa! Seems like a tough task for a mom like me. I am afraid ADHD is a lifetime condition, so guidance and support is much needed by my son.

On Airbeds and Mattresses

My kids really loved to jump up and down the mattresses, especially my youngest son. Well, I couldn't blame them because when I was a kid I also used to play around my parents' mattress. Even when I was already in high school, I remembered my father bought us an air bed, to which my siblings and I would play on. We were scolded when he found out that the air bed was damaged.

Maybe that was a lesson learned by my father. If he could only bring back the time, he would have researched for the best air beds first before he got us one. Since there was no internet available long ago, he was not able to get the important online information he needed.

Music Monday: Better In Time

This is a new song (well, not really that new, but it is released a little bit recently) by Leona Lewis. I heard this song over at yahoo music launch cast and instantly fell in love with it! The song was a good music piece for a contemporary dance too, and so I could not resist of sharing it here on Music Monday!

I am posting here a Better In Time video, but this time, it is performed by Boyce Avenue. Well, I must say I am one of the copious subscribers of the band over at Youtube and was ecstatic when i found out they have a cover of song!

So if you like their version, you can always watch them at youtube. And if you also like the song, here's the lyrics and sing along with me.

(Ooooh)

It's been the longest winter without you
I didn't know where to turn to
See somehow I can't forget you
After all that we've been through

Going coming thought I heard a knock
Who's there no one
Thinking that I deserve it
Now I realize that I really didn't know
If you didn't notice you meant everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I'm gon' be ok

[Chorus:]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
Even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

I couldn't turn on the TV
Without something there to remind me
Was it all that easy
To just put aside your feelings

If I'm dreaming don't wanna laugh
Hurt my feelings but that's the past
I believe it
And I know that time will heal it
If you didn't notice boy you meant everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I'm gon' be ok

[Chorus:]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
Even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

Since there's no more you and me
It's time I let you go
So I can be free
And live my life how it should be
No matter how hard it is I'll be fine without you
Yes I will

[Chorus: x2]
Thought I couldn't live without you
It's gonna hurt when it heals too
It'll all get better in time
Even though I really love you
I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
It'll all get better in time

Enjoy the rest of the week guys!

Our Bachelor's Pad

We had a 6-doors pad for rent just beside our house. Since our lot still has an extra space, my parents thought it would be best to put up a bachelor's pad. In that way, extra income for extra expenses would be derived. It is amazing how pads or even apartments earn considerably nowadays, and lucky for my parents they never ran out of tenants - - well, until now.

One tenant moved out few days back. She lived at door number 5 and was a government employee. All I knew about her was that she was married and that her husband was working out of the country. The reason she moved out of our pad (and practically resigned from her job) was because she will join her husband at Washington DC.

I always feel envious of people going to other places for good, and happy for them at the same time. Knowing that this tenant of ours is off to a great place like Wahington DC, I bet my whole life that they will have the best of everything, including cars. Wonder if they will be going to buy a car there, particularly a Mercedes over at New Mercedes DC . I guess they would, as life in the States is pleasant.

Wishing her good luck in her new environment.
