Sexy Love - Allison and Ivan

I so much loved this dance, that I already loved the song too. I have added this video to my favorites, and I hope one day I could dance like them... lol!

Anyway, just want to share this vidz...

Why Kids are Adorable

I got this email from a close friend...several stories of smart kids that makes them adorable.

Since Christmas is just a fews hours away, just want to share the email for everyone to brighten and cheer up. And since Christmas is for kids, then these stories would definitely put the smile in your face.

Here they go...

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.
The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work.
As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The girl replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like."
Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute."

The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture.
"Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'
A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, she's dead."

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
"Take only ONE . God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"

Have a joyful Christmas everybody... and a Fruitful New Year as well.

Nuisance or Not?

Having three small kids is like a bed of roses.....with thorns. It is not really easy, well at least for me. Aside from the fact that I have to wake up in the middle of the night just to prepare a bottle of milk, or play around, or whatever it is that they wanted to do at an unhourly moment.

As I am writing this entry, I have them here with me. Thank goodness my eldest has snoozed off, which left my two sons still up and very much "unsleepy". I was working on making them sleep a few hours ago but I gave up. Whew! My second kid was playing with our TV's remote control while my youngest was playing with my cellphone, with quick jabs at the laptop's keys. Every now and then I would look at them to check if the items they were playing with were still intact and functional. Another whew!

Anyway, that is the thorny part of my bed of roses.

They may be nuisance at some instances but they are the ones I could not live without. They are the most important part of my life. They taught me the virtue of patience and understanding, which at present I am still struggling to achieve. But nonetheless, I have to admit that I am the happiest mother on earth when I am with my kids, even in the midst of their mess.

On Removing Stains

It is a known fact that kids really want to display their creativity at every given opportunity. When crayons or pens are just on their reach, then expect that your walls will be filled with "works of art" in minutes.

My three kids are fond of writing on the walls no matter how many times they are told not to do it.

Thanks to some tips that I got, which has somehow helped me get rid of those marks...

For crayon marks:

  • Spray lubricant (car lubricant) on the area with the marks
  • Wipe with a soft cloth, in a circular motion
  • If there are still stains that remained, wash them with a sponge with dish soap and water.

For pencil marks:

  • Erase the pencil marks off your wall using a white, gum eraser
  • If no eraser is available, use baking soda to wipe them off... (baking soda should be mixed with a bit of water
  • Rub the area with a non-gel toothpaste

I have tried these tips and it really worked. Now, I don't worry too much everytime my kids are having their art sessions... but then, the effort of cleaning out their mess is still tiring...

Top 10 Celebrities

I wonder how it feels to be a celebrity...and being always talked about too.

Well, for these celebrities who landed on the top ten "most visited celebs", being talked about is worth everything because it would mean that people are giving them the attention. And with the attention that they are getting, more projects would come along the way.

E Online has the list of top ten most visited celebrities and shown above are the first three most popular celebrities at present. Included in the list are as follows: Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, River Phoenix, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lopez.

Chocolates

I don't know when I started to like chocolates... but right now, I could say that I am really a chocolate fanatic. I just recently consumed the three bags of kisses with peanut butter I ordered from an officemate and now I am awaiting for my other orders to arrive. This time, I'll have Ghirardelli and Lindt.(yum...)

And so, while awaiting for those delicious items to arrive, I just browsed through some chocolate trivias which somehow has made me say ah...

  • Chocolate contains phenylethylamine, which is a natural substance that is believed to stimulate the same reaction in the body like falling in love.

  • One plain milk chocolate bar has more protein than a banana

  • The botanical name of the choco plant is called Theobramba Cacao, which means "Food for the Gods".

  • American and Russian space flights have always included in them chocolates.

  • Th world's first choclate candy was made by Conrad J. Van Houten, during 1828.

  • An average person consumes about 10,000 chocolates in a lifetime.

  • The largest Toblerone bar weighs about 10 pounds.

Mmmm...

Hollywood at Random

Here are some of the Hollywood news that I have gathered... If you have those owl eyes, then you could enjoy these news bits...(never mind the ad though, it was included during the screen cap)

A warm and big congratulations to Reese for making it to the top of the highly-paid actresses.

Djimon Hounsou is named the "The Most Beautiful Black Man Alive", by TV One Access. The selection was based not only on the appeal this man has on ladies but also the proven success he has on his daily life, off-the-screen. Included as runner ups were Denzel Washington and Will Smith.

Way to go for Djimon... I truly admired his performance in The Blood Diamond.

Katie's New Look

I was a regular audience of the tv series Dawson's Creek, where it features Katie, as a young, wholesome and fresh typical girl in high school.

Later on, I have watched a movie called The Gift and I really had not expected a scene featuring Katie being topless.....oh my! That horror flick really was a complete turn-around of my impression on this girl.

Currently, she has married Tom Cruise and I know that she is very happy with her family. However, found this picture at the entertainment section of the yahoo website and I was amused on how far this lady has come.

Well, Katie looked nice in the pic. She is very tall indeed. But, I just wonder if she really was the one who picked this kind of look or just imposed upon her. Of course, she looks gorgeous but it just don't refelct her real age...it seems she and Tom were at the same age bracket...lol!

Nonetheless, I congratulate them for their family. Suri is such a very, very cute and wonderful baby.

I have not gone to my You Tube account lately until this very moment. I haven't noticed that there are people who are viewing my profile and the more had I not expected that I would get at least 400 views already.

Here's the screen shot of my You Tube page...

Got 424 views already... and 7 subscribers! I haven't even made a music video lately bacause of some other priorities that need to be done. Nonetheless, I am grateful that You Tube viewers spent their time watching my profile and videos as well.

Civil Engineering Board Exams

My brother took the Civil Engineering Board Examination last November 17 and 18, 2007, and until now, the exam results were not yet released. Anxious examinees, relatives and friends were all so excited about it, until this heartbreaking news update broke out.

Whoa!!! Just what exactly has happened?! After all those grueling months of review, not to mention the countless sleepless nights studying those mind-boggling subjects just to ensure the passing mark. I really feel for my bro... who has lost some extra pounds due to his rigid review classes prior to the board exam. Now, he must review those two subjects again to refresh the knowledge so that he could provide the answers to the exam questions come January.

Speaking of going to reveiw class again, it entails another set of expenses to incur. Monthly allowance would again be given, in addition to board and lodging and the review center fees.

I know the feeling that he have right now, since I also have taken the CPA Board exams almost a decade ago. Right after the examination, the feeling of relief swept through my being, after all those months of review. Fortunately, our exam results were released just two days after the examination date. But in this case, the results have been delayed only to find out that they have to re-take two subjects. It's like being able surface up in a deep ocean and was pulled underneath again.

I guess board exam fees will again be charged to the examinees. Truly an inconvenience indeed!

Relationship Quiz

I recently took a test about relationships. I was amazed at the results and somehow it really reflected my personality when it comes to relating with my partner.

Love Quiz results of naomi

Dear naomi,You are a person who needs a partner who is responsible financially with an education, who will share responsibilities with you, support you emotionally and keep up with the heat and romance. Effort is a big thing for you and you need to see efforts being made by your partner often. Lack of efforts makes you feel like you may not be worth it in your partner's eyes and can cause problems in your relationship. Just remember that your partner can only do what he/she knows and cannot read your mind. If your partner is investing effort, but not quire as much as you would like, or not in a way that makes you feel special, just talk to him/her. Let your partner know that you love him/her and appreciate that he/she does for you, but also need and desire more. Then tell him/her what those needs and desires are. Open and honest communication with your partner will help your relationship grow into a more close and loving one. Understanding and caring about each other needs is key to making a relationship work.

Is Your Child Ready for School?

I stumbled across a web site about parenting. After browsing through their pages, I have read several articles which has caught my fancy. One of those articles is about pre-school kids.

I have three kids. My eldest, 5 years old, is already at kinder two. My second child shall also be starting to go to school by June, as a nursery student. This son of mine, he is still 3 years old right now, so he will turn four within the next school year, the age suitable for nursery pupils. However, his speech ability is quite delayed, although I don’t consider it a vital hindrance. Moreover, I already taught him some academic basics just like what I did with his elder sister. He takes those lessons well, but there were times that he tires up easily and would prefer to watch those cartoons on TV.

So, is my son ready for school? Here are the details of what I have read on the net.

Age - appropriate age for incoming nursery pupils should be 4 years old. Anyway, that factor really depends on the school whether to accept the kid or not.

School program – Parents should assess whether the child could meet the school program requirements. The kid may be developmentally ready for a class with a bunch of playing games, socialization and action-filled learning, but not for structured desk work. See whether the kid struggles to sit on his chair long enough to complete his school work, because if not, the next year might be best.

Language Readiness – Does the child already ask questions? Convey a need? When asked, does he or she already answers you back? Does the kid follow simple instructions at home e.g. “go to sleep”, “eat your food” or get your slippers”.

Social Skills – the child may be ready for school if he or she is already comfortable in a group, plays and works with others, and follows directions and routinary activities.

Motor Skills – I don’t know if my son is ready on this aspect… it’s about whether the kid could cut with scissors in a relatively straight pattern, or able to copy any shape or alphabet sign.

Cognitive Ability – Be able to draw a person with at least five body parts on it… (hmmm… let me try this one!)

Well, I think my son shall pursue his nursery curriculum this coming June then... how bout your child?

Marriage

I received this email from my officemate featuring a story about two couple married for a long time. I would like to express my gratefulness for the email because it really touches my heart, being married that is.

This story may have been circulated all around the net, I don't exactly know but I would just like to share this to everyone who had the time to read my posts. It is quite long but it is worth the time.

Here it goes...

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man!

That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her! With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again. In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door every morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her. On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind... I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

Consider me a sentimental person or what, but this has truly touched a great portion of my being. This may not just be a fancy to have, it is a must to do... that is, to make your daily married life as lively as it can be. It would such be a waste that after all hardships and challenges being conquered through, everything would just be thrown away.

Love your spouses, till death do you part.

Online Shopping

Shopping is one of the most popular hobbies in the world, especially to those who are very fortunate in terms of financial wealth. Even the average earner would love to shop if permitted the opportunity. Why not? With shopping, you get to have new clothes, new shoes, new accessories, everything that would make you look and feel good.

Everybody loves to shop that nowadays even those who have very hectic schedules can shop without going personally to boutiques and stores. Thanks to the birth of online shopping...

I for one simply enjoyed shopping online, even window shopping. I used to browse through different online catalogues of various online stores, and I should say that I could do that for a straight ten hours. Whew! I usually enjoy clicking through different items, checking and comparing prices, and admiring wonderful designs.

A lot of online stores have emerged on the net, more than enough for online shoppers to fully explore. Well, there are many stores that offer a variety of products, just like a one stop shop. Others offer specialty products.

I also watch a number of ads on tv, introducing a lot of interesting items, mostly sports and fitness related. Well, just like this site that I have browsed through, a wide array of fitness products are up for purchase. From dance fitness videos, to air purifiers. Maybe you would enjoy it too. AS SEEN ON TV.

I Could Not Ask For More

"These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive...These are the moments I'll remember all my life...I've got all I've waited for...And I could not ask for more."

An officemate of mine introduced me to this song... she said she really liked it and wanted me to look for it and have it uploaded on her Friendster profile. Oh well, when I heard the song, it has also captured my fascination.

The song is rendered by Edwin McCain, but our local artist Christian Bautista also gave his soulful rendition of the song in his album.

I have always been a lover of music, most especially love songs. Not to mention the fact that this song could also be considered a wedding song, taking into account the lyrics contained therein.

And to fully satisfy my fancy on this song, I have made a music video featuring of course my favorite couple...Robert and Saicy of Pinoy Big Brother Season 2. Saicy already watched the video together with her request "Crazy for You" of Madonna, and it is very heartwarming to know that she really liked it.

Here's the video I made... it is also uploaded in You Tube.
