Time flies so fast and before I knew it, November would set in and it will be this blog's second year of existence. As you can see, it still has no own domain and I am still searching for a great web hosting service. Life and The Internet

My daily life is missing something if I am not able to connect on the internet. Everyday, it has been a routine for me to open my Facebook account, check my yahoo mail and gmail accounts and do some other internet researches. When I am away from my PC, I often connect with the internet through my cellphone via wireless.

I had my phone two month ago and when I got it I was so ecstatic. Cellphones has become a necessity nowadays. It is the best means of communicating a loved one, since it is portable and convenient to use. Well, it could not also be denied that cellphones also has become a status symbol, with its prices ranging from the affordability of the unfortunate ones up to the wealthy and affluent.

But whatever type of cellphone each and every one of us has, it is a requisite that it has a sound for message and call alerts. IT Knowledge

I attended my daughter's recognition day last Friday and was amazed at the students' achievements. Their excellence in mathematics, science, and english were obvious on the number of awards they received during the ceremonies.

I noticed that one of the major awards goes to the best in information technology. It was something unexpected for me, and I though it is quite early for elementary students to learn about computers. I was wrong, and they even have those awards to pupils as young as Grade 1.

My daughter was Grade 1, and if I had known beforehand that IT places a significant impact on their academic studies, then I would have let her learn the basics of the computer. Who knows, she might be a recipient of such award in the coming days, lol!

Everything is so modern nowadays and IT plays an important role in almost all personal and business transactions that we have. It is now deemed best to learn and get updated with the latest technology and undergo IT trainings. Lots of schools are now offering IT tutorials and trainings and for those who don't have time to go out, they can also have all the online training they want. If you just pay attention to their tutorial videos, you are off to acquire the new skills in IT!

I Love Facebook

I was inactive in social networking for quite a while now. The most frequent site I get to visit was friendster and multiply only, although I also have accounts with myspace, yuwie, tagged, flixster and facebook.

But lately, I was drawn into facebook because of my belief that most celebrities have facebook accounts. My intention was purely to meet them and get to know them more through their profiles. Well, my intentions are not put to naught, because I indeed get to have celebrity friends now and I am so much enjoying it. I never fail to check facebook daily and like any excited fan of celebrities, I am also getting giddy.

Well, aside from the celebrity "friends", I also had my real and online friends at facebook. I really had fun every time I write on their walls, and the anticipation that I feel for their replies and comments on my status, haha! Here's a scap of my profile:

At the moment, I am enjoying poker on facebook. Even hubby is captivated and although he still have no FB account, he enjoyed playing poker using my account, haha!
