High Quality Video Chat

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of faceVsion Technology USA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Before I became active in blogging, I did a number of online jobs on a part-time basis. The employers usually require an interview, in order to know more about me and my qualifications. During those times, my yahoo messenger and skype accounts were more than active, since they were the modes of communication between me and the various job offerers.

Thanks to my brother, I was able to show up on video interviews, whenever some of the employers require. He had a web camera then, but of low quality. I have not minded it at first, as long as I could get face to face with the person I am talking with, that's fine. But as time went by, the importance of high definition web cameras dawned unto me. Some employers complain of the poor reception of my camera, to which left me no choice but be declined. If only I knew about the FV touchcam N1 earlier (like the one below), then that problem wouldn't have surfaced.

Socialspark_productimage

FV touchcam N1 is the first internet streaming true HD webcam for skype video calls, which is available through shop.facevsion.com and other value added partners. faceVsion takes pride of this amazing gadget which features embedded hardware H.264 encoding and squeezes the video into a stream small enough to be sent over a typical internet connection. Likewise, its wide lens of 78 degrees enables several people to fit into the picture.

I am sure this camera could have been very useful, if I have purchased it during my online interviews. A visit to faceVision on line store would be better then, so that I could get more info about the touchcam N1 or even the FV ExpressCombo. Who knows, video chatting with my cousins in the US, or with a future online employer, would then be a very pleasant experience.

Don't Be Left Out With I.T.

I admit I am not an expert in information technology. As much as I wanted to get well-versed with computers, the internet and the new technological innovations, I really haven't got all the time to familiarize them by heart due to time and financial constraints.

I was just a little fortunate with the office that I am employed because they usually conduct information technology seminars and workshops for their employees. I was able to attend a seminar on Basic IT and was able to understand its basic and intermediate features. It really helped a lot in the course of my work, especially those more enhanced courses that were conducted subsequently.

I guess I am like father. He is very much interested in IT. I mean, he was not born in the modern world, but he seems to be in awe with what those new technologies bring. He has no qualms obtaining new knowledge despite his present age, and I wondered if he could absorb everything. Anyway, he is gradually applying these new IT enhancements on his business. The thing is - - our place happens to be a little bit backward as far as technology is concerned. And that is why my father is pretty excited for the innovations he applied on his business because that meant he would belong to the pioneers in his field. Well, if only manhattan it consulting is available here, he would have gotten their services.

Oh well, the best of luck for my father.

Nissan Maxima

An office mate of mine had a Nissan Sentra long ago and she loved the car to the maximum. But due to some circumstances that she would rather forget now, she sold the car with the hope that all the unpleasant memories that went with it would all vanish to thin air. She had been through an unhappy marriage with a womanizer of a husband and thankful that she has finally gotten out of it.

Now that she is starting anew, ideas of relocation have set in. There are many places she considered to move in, even as far as US or UK. Now that she is already in Manila, I wonder what her final decision is. She has thought of a new car too and a new house. Well, not literally new but just a 'new car and house' for a 'new her'. Nissan has always been her favorite and planned to have the same brand for her 'new' car.

She said she was browsing through the net for great Nissan models. She found this one Maxima model over at Nissan Dealer MA and instantly fell in love with it. She got excited then and would definitely purchase it whatever the means (go girl!). It's a good thing though that she is financially blessed amidst everything.

Rubiks Cube MP3 Player

Saw this from my inbox today and boy! I am so amazed by it. Not that this particular item is extraordinary but it is something that I liked to have both and now it comes in only one piece! This is the Rubiks Cube MP3 Player designed by Hee Yong.

To activate the player, one must turn the cubes just like the usual Rubik's Cube. Solving each layer has a specific function, like play, pause, forward or back. It is indeed listening to your favorite songs while playing and having fun!

I wonder if this available here?

My Drive

This is it. I have to take up driving lessons starting this Monday. Although I already know the basics, I still have to learn driving on the road, with all those traffic rules and regulations applied. Hubby is not around to teach me those rules, dos and don'ts, and my father don't have the patience to teach me either. Pardon me, but I guess my footwork when it comes to driving is not yet that superb.

Oh well, that means I have to spend at least Php2700 just to learn how to drive well (good for 7 hours). Have to deal with that or else, I wouldn't be able to hit the road all by myself. Likewise, I wouldn't be able to drive this magnificent toyota avalon if given the chance!

What is special with this car? Take a look at the picture below and see how amazing it is? I would definitely want to have one like that one of these days, haha!

The toyota avalon is a front wheel drive vehicle with four passenger doors. With luxurious features that surely cater to every people's delight, this car is well-designed and at par with other vehicles. Especially for music lovers like me, their various speakers would really be a great entertainment. What more could I ask for with this car on its rain-sensing wipers, memory side mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats as well as anti-theft system.

Wish me luck guys!

How To Wake Up Early

Waking up early is one hard task for me because I usually sleep late at night, not to mention the waking intervals that I make just to feed my little boys their milk. But I have to get up as early as 5:30 am during weekdays because my daughter would be late for school if I don't wake her up before 5:45am.

Anyways, I was amused with some alarm clocks I found which are somehow insistent in waking one up during the mornings. Take for instance the Tyrant Alarm Clock - - it coordinates with your cellphone and the contact lists. Every time the alarm rings for three minutes and you still haven't woken up, it will dial a random number from your cellphone. Well, in that case, you may never wake up through the alarm clock but you would certainly be awaken by the call of your friends or whoever asking why you call at such an early time. Then there's the Alarm Puzzle Clock - - which shoots four puzzle pieces right to you and the only way to shut it off is to put back the pieces together. Well, that would be an imperfect way to start a day, picking up the pieces and putting them together. In that case, you might need a strong cup of coffee afterwards (haha!).

Another clock that would get you rolling for the day is the Shape Up Alarm Clock - - and it would let you make thirty repetitions to shut it off because it has no snooze. Oh my, what a strenuous way to start the day indeed!, although on second thought, it gives a great motivation for weight watchers like me.

Wanna wake up with the wrong foot? These clocks surely would wake you up in no time. And to do that, better have a good night sleep beforehand.

Cellphone-charging Tie

Technology has gone a long way already and now have made an entry into the clothing and fashion industry. A team of researchers at the North Carolina State University have designed a way to incorporate technology and fashion by using digital textile printing in printing fabric that matches the pattern of the solar cells.

Using the "liquid stitch" method, the solar cells are then attached to the tie and could be greatly helpful in charging your cellphone. Coupled with a pouch, then you're off to extended talk time while on the go.

Read more about this brilliant idea at The Department of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Development at the North Carolina State University.
