I was planning to have a diet that will be purely oatmeal for this whole week to see if I could really lose weight. I will not be eating rice this time, and avoid the oily and fatty foods. I was not really fond of oatmeal before, but since they have produced new flavors, I find them tasty already even my kids love them especially the banana-honey flavor.Posted by neiyomee at 6:00:00 AM 1 fancies

So, what would be my alternative in order to hasten this weight loss endeavor of mine? I have to continue my dance routines and thrive to sweat out more than my calorie intake. Fine. I have to pursue my diet (strict mode), meaning no fats, no salt and less sugar. And take fiber and L-Carnitine or levocarnitine, that is why I am stocking some beverages with the content as well as the food supplement.
What is L-Carnitine? It is a naturally occurring amino acid that helps in the metabolism of fats. It transfers long-chain fatty acids, like the triglycerides, into the mitochondria, which is the cell's energy haven. From there, the fats are oxidized to form into energy. L-Carnitine can also be found on red meat (beef), dairy products and avocado.Posted by neiyomee at 4:43:00 PM 0 fancies
I really love dancing and I wouldn't trade this skill to anybody else (sorry...). I have always been an avid viewer of dance music videos, especially those of Madonna, Janet Jackson, Shakira and Justin Timberlake. Every time I get a glimpse of their videos, I really get hooked at once. Posted by neiyomee at 11:10:00 AM 2 fancies

Well, the choices I have to make - - Rubber shoes or Earrings. It has been a long time since I wanted
to have them but haven't got the time and resources to obtain. With costs getting higher and higher, the chances of having those are getting slimmer and slimmer (poor me!). And now that I got a few bucks to spend, I am left to make the decision which item to buy.Posted by neiyomee at 2:06:00 PM 0 fancies

Aerobics is an extended activity that makes one breathe long and hard and boosts up the heart rate, which eventually improves endurance. It makes the heart stronger and more efficient. Its activities includes, but not limited to: brisk walking, jogging, aerobic dancing, and swimming. Aerobic exercises also uses up the excess calories stored in the body that would turn out to be fats in the long run if not utilized, thereby making it an effective activity for weight control. Aerobics also helps counteract stress, and as a result, anxieties are eased away as the tensed muscles are relaxed.
Likewise, there is a research that has studied the link between aerobic exercise and mental performance of the brain among adults. Researchers have found out that when healthy adults undergo improvement on their fitness, there are improvement in their mental abilities as well, like in their memory or attention. A series of studies and investigations have been conducted and came to the conclusion that the improvements in mental abilities brought about by aerobic activities are explained by the progress in cerebral blood flow, leading to increased brain metabolism. The increase in metabolism stimulates the production of neurotransmitters and formation of new synapses. Neurotransmitters are chemicals that carry messages between nerve cells, and synapses are the connections through which this communication takes place.Posted by neiyomee at 9:10:00 AM 1 fancies
gain. I was so fond of sleeping way back in college that it almost made me flunk, and what I really remembered back then was that I have gained so much weight. Maybe I have disregarded the fact that I also ate lots during those times. Now that I do not sleep that much (I usually sleep at 11pm on the average...and in between sleep I still have to wake up and feed my two boys), I still have gained weight. Now I see that there was no direct relationship between sleep and weight and so I have already dismissed my previous concept on sleep.Posted by neiyomee at 3:27:00 PM 1 fancies
And so I went to JAMV Dance Studio, the most sought after studio here in our place. They have a number of regular members who were paying on a monthly basis. Some are just walk-in participants, paying 50 pesos per hour. An officemate of mine referred this studio to me about three years ago but I only got the time to go and check it out six months ago. Now, I am also tagging along some other officemates whenever I go to JAMV. The more, the merrier.
I really enjoyed dancing. I don't know why but whenever I hear dance tunes, my body begins to move. Well, not publicly but there is something inside me that shouts dance...dance...dance. Dancing with others is enjoyable. I had fun looking at my own reflection since the studio is surrounded by mirrors. After the dance and all those sweat unleashing, it feels so refreshing and light. It's like playing badminton and volleyball, haha.Posted by neiyomee at 7:14:00 PM 1 fancies
