On Removing Stains
It is a known fact that kids really want to display their creativity at every given opportunity. When crayons or pens are just on their reach, then expect that your walls will be filled with "works of art" in minutes.
My three kids are fond of writing on the walls no matter how many times they are told not to do it.
Thanks to some tips that I got, which has somehow helped me get rid of those marks...
For crayon marks:
- Spray lubricant (car lubricant) on the area with the marks
- Wipe with a soft cloth, in a circular motion
- If there are still stains that remained, wash them with a sponge with dish soap and water.
For pencil marks:
- Erase the pencil marks off your wall using a white, gum eraser
- If no eraser is available, use baking soda to wipe them off... (baking soda should be mixed with a bit of water
- Rub the area with a non-gel toothpaste
I have tried these tips and it really worked. Now, I don't worry too much everytime my kids are having their art sessions... but then, the effort of cleaning out their mess is still tiring...
